Peter & Melinda Rempel's Wedding
Hello Everyone, Hope everyone had a great summer of 2012.
We have been busy during the summer including doing this one beautiful wedding, It is really SIMPLE wedding that we have gone to and do the sessions with Peter & Melinda. During those wedding, the weather was absolutely beautiful, perfect for a backyard wedding.
Michael and I(Vanecia) worked together and agreed where we should be taking the shots and be able to catch every moments of the bride and groom. There was no limitations as everyone was able to enjoy their day at the wedding.
Peter and Melinda has so much surprises for every guest as they entered with a music, Melinda sing a song to Peter then escort with a few dances along to the altar with their Marriage of Commissioner. They were exchanging a vows, their dog was able to be in every shots, every steps of their journey to a new marriage life. After the wedding, they still dance their way to the bartender and got a nice cold drink and enjoy meet and greet the guests. Coming for a more surprise, the Groom decide to go for a dip in the pool with the kids and friends. They had so much BLAST. It was a perfect way to end the day swimming in hot weather.
Everyone enjoy their meals, It was pretty delicious food from CJL Catering and the wonderful cake making from Nachelle's Cakes. The night enclosed with many fun, many loves, and many memories to be made!
Congrats Peter & Melinda, We would like to say MANY thanks for inviting and choosing MVA Photography to shoot your big day. It was beautiful wedding.

Schellenberg Family Session & Big Milestone
Sorry for a long time, no blogging since our blogs was down for awhile, now its up and running once again!
We decide to do a family session with the Schellenberg family and their cutest kids.
Since we were waiting for them to pick the best picture of their choices as they had hard time picking the picture,as they loved all the pictures, so we picked few of our favorites pictures.
We were taking picture of Yana, as she just turn 1 and we would like do some fun session with Yana, Of Course her big brother was in love with her and wanted to be in the pictures as well.In this session, was more focus on Yana as she just turn 1 year old.
What a big milestone for this family this year of 2012.
We had so much fun during the session as we had some props, and they were so focus on props than the camera, and then there was a family who loves their beloved children and they all had blast like a family should be!!
Of Course when you are taking picture of kids, they would like to do ANYTHING to get the attentions.

It will be watermarks and blocked people from copy the pictures.

Jayson & Denise Wedding Social & Shower April 21,22,2012
Sorry for the delay, Thanks for your patience, I finally got the permission from Jayson & Denise to post the website from their Wedding Social & Shower. Then I was away on my vacation, didn't have the access to the computer, Here you go....
It was an amazing event to celebrate with those special couples who will be getting married this upcoming July.

Iran Harvest " Mehregan Celebrations" ( 3rd Session on Oct 3,2011)
Third events was Iran Harvest " Mehregan Celebrations", It was pretty neat experience meeting lot of Iranian people, They had Floyd the Clown to entertained the kids, Musics, Speeches, many more, and of course the food!
Everyone dance the night away, even they enjoy the presentation that evening.
Unfortunately, we cant post the pictures of the people from that events... But I was able to post few that I have granted their permission.
The experience was BEYOND our Exceptions!

Newborn Aaron Jr, 2 year old- Annika " THE BEAUTIFUL CHILDREN"
On March 25 2012, we had a photo session with the Montney family - specific on Newborn and girl who turning 2.
The Experience was beyond experience, It was fun working with those kids and it was pretty challenge, but it makes me learn more about them, learn how they could like me, How they could be comfortable with surrounding setting.
I (Vanecia) was focusing on Newborn session (Aaron JR) first, while Annika had hard time and didn't want me to work with Aaron JR. After the session with Aaron Jr, Annika was still not comfortable even we met few time.
So I set up some wood blocks, Tutu, Headbands, Flowers, then I was talking with their mom then all sudden, Annika saw the tutu with blocks, she finally hit off and LOVE to play with the tutu and saw the blocks and look at me say can play with blocks, I thought why not, have some time to kill, and we played with blocks, she finally got all warmed up and was ready to try on the tutu, headbands, flowers and had a BLAST time, then her mom thought , OH we have a butterfly wings to add on and It was a PERFECT match with whole outfits, and she was dancing whole afternoon like she has the talent.
Then she was able to let me taking some photo of her in those outfit, She had pretty blast time and didn't want take them off till I told her that I had to go and told her that she can play with them in the next time. She was happy.
Result, I was happy with the photo that I took that day, thanks again those great kids for those great photo. And they were the first who get to see my props and was able to use them in the photo session. As you would see the two picture that I made for Annika's Birthday, It was a special request.

The pictures that Vanecia took pictures of my daughter, Annika and Aaron Junior was awesome. Annika really enjoyed the "dress up" and loves to have picture taken. It takes her a while to get used with Vanecia. Vanecia is very good with children for picture taken. NOWRUZ ( Persian New Year Celebrations) 2012
On March 23, 2012, We were asked to do a photography for this big events - NowRuz Persian New Year celebration. It has been a GREAT experience to celebrate with their cultures, their belief, and their biggest celebrations of the year.
Our Experience: It has been an amazing evening to celebrate with those amazing people who put all effort to make this events success. When we took the picture, we felt their excitements, their happiness of being living in Canada since they all move from Iran. Everyone even the kids dress up so beautiful into their culture outfits and evening gown. They do look so fabulous that evening. They even also provided some performance such as Clown to entertainment the children, some different kind of music, some performance about their cultures, also a cute performance music provided by the kids.

Photoshoot with Carolyn Usick
Carolyn Usick had seen our website and decided that she wanted to have a photo shoot with us for her Christmas card.
On a beautiful late fall day, Vanecia and Carolyn went to a park where they had so much fun. Carolyn was very relaxed and was able to enjoy her photo shoot. She had mentioned that she was rarely comfortable when she go to other places for photo shoot. But with me, we had so much fun, lots of laughter,and together we found lots of different spaces to take pictures.
I think that she had so much fun when she found lots things that are unique like the tree stump, the house (that look like it was out of the Hansel and Gretel story book) and enjoying hearing the duck, Geese quacking which she explained to me sounded very much like they were laughing!
Afterward we went for a coffee as it was little cold that day, but we feel good after a warm cup of java!
She has been so patient with my situation lately, and was so happy that her patience has paid off. She is so happy with the pictures that she got! :)

Carolyn's Experience:
I had a great time with Vanecia as we took photos of myself in the beautiful surroundings of Kildonan Park. We walked around various areas and it was very fun to do different poses. Vanecia has very good people skills, very friendly and enjoyable to share time with. She has a very good handle on what looks good in pictures and I enjoyed my first photo shoot with her. I would not hesitate to hire her again!

Photo Session with Aaron, Sheila and Annika Montney
October 15, 2011
Aaron and Sheila has decide that they want to have their photo session with the MVA Photography.
So we all met at one location and went from there.
Annika, is the one of the cutest child, she was so easy to work with.
Once she saw the leaves and had SO much fun in the leaves and enjoy the time with her parents.
Also this photo session was special because Annika is expecting a new sibling on way in March, so she was pretty exciting. We took some pictures of couples, Family and baby on the way. Weather was just perfect, everyone had so much fun!
Even at end of the day, we saw a wedding parties at the same location for their photo session, It was neat to watch. Also for Annika to play around at the playground.

We all had a good time with Vanecia and Mike at Assiniboine Park/Duck Pond.Annika really loves what Mike did.. Put bread put to lure duck to come out of pond and be closer to Annika. She really enjoys that part!As for the picture taken at children's place, the most part she loves is to play leaves and the animal where she can sit on it. We three had a wonderful experience with u guys. We saw the pictures which are awesome!!! It shows that u took pictures that are natural, not too serious!! Photo Session with Dale & Melody Friesen

On Sunday Oct 9 2011, We went for a photo session, weather was just perfectly beautiful for a beautiful couples.
The couples were really exciting for a photo session for their Christmas gifts.
We all had amazing time , great locations, fun watching the geese and enjoy fun in the leaves.

Our Experience with LaVallee Family ( First Session) Oct 3,2011
First family was the LaVallee, we had alot of fun, Lots of Laugh, Fun working with the girls.. THE BEST SISTERLY LOVE MOMENTS
At first they werent sure to have their picture taken, but then we all got to know what we all wanted and they hit right off the bat, and had BLAST! They decide their own pose and it turn out the best picture.. GOOD JOB GIRLS! Thanks for letting us work with you girls.

Language~Live~Laugh~Love
We had an amazing Photoshoot with the Mojarrabi- Kermani and Schellenberg also ourselves.
We decided to have a photoshoot outside which it was a Perfect beautiful Sunday to do it.
Reason we pick "Language~Live~Laugh~Love" because We have 2 visitor who came down from Iran - Mohsen's sister and brother in law. They didn't speak English but it was very nice to meet them and greet them to Canada. Also Mohsen other sister Samaria who also moved to Canada recent May, she loves Canada so much..
We learned about their Culture, Their experience being in Canada, how Love greatest in the family, Children make us laugh... We shall always cherish this moments..
We took so many picture and most turn out the best but we put the BEST one in the website...
Even Javan & Yana was able to cooperate that day for the photoshoot.

Hello Everyone, Hope you all had a Great summer...
Here I am writing a blog and share my experience that I had with Sherra Hall.
We had so much fun in doing the photo shoot. We had two photo shoot in 2 different days. For the first time we went to the Forks, It was really HOT outside and we couldn't get to do much, then 2nd time we did at the hill and It was a perfect weather, perfect setting that matches her personality. There was so many funny thing that happened during the session, as least it make our memories more fun.

Sherra's Experience
"I had a great experience with MVA Photography! The photographer was very open to all my suggestions and very easy to work with. She made me feel so comfortable in front of the camera; so much so, in fact, that she allowed me to be my silly, free-spirited self without constantly telling me what to do, how to stand, and where to look. The session was really relaxed and casual, sipping bubble tea and having a good time collaborating on some great photo ops - though, we did have a run in with some hungry geese! Thank you MVA Photography for letting me be me and capturing this on film!"

Our Experience
Hello Everyone, we would like to talk about our experience.
Since we start our business in Photography, of course we can't start with a business without volunteering. As since we usual do our own personal time to take picture of our preference. Now it's time to expand our experience and be able to include people into our Experience. It is awesome that we could have them in part of our business.
Date/Locations of Volunteering: On July 21, 2011, Michael and I had volunteered at St James Assinboia 55+ Centre. http://www.stjasc.com
The reason of Volunteering:
They had a celebration of new gym as they got new equipments for those seniors, as their goals to keep them in fitness, healthy and social well being. and have many guest speakers from different agency to talk about Health and Social well being, therefore, we took lots of pictures of people, surrounding area, Guest Speaker including Stephen Fletcher the MP of Charleswood.

Our Experience:
It was a GREATEST Experience we ever had. We went for 3 hours Volunteering.
People were SO Friendly, they really made us feel part of the events even though we were the photographer.
